Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT)

Emotions are the primary focus, they are explored, identified, and felt deeply. Emotion focused psychotherapy supports clients in discovering adaptive emotions organically, fostering feelings of empowerment and resiliency.

Trauma-Informed

Trauma-Informed approaches to therapy provide clients with opportunities to develop grounding and self-soothing techniques, enhance self-awareness of the mind-body connection, and foster a sense of safety and control when healing painful emotional wounds.

Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing has clients engage in bilateral stimulation while focusing on traumatic memories. Extensively researched, this approach to therapy supports clients in healing from past, present, and/or ongoing trauma and works at decreasing symptoms of PTSD.

Attachment Theory

Discovering and exploring attachment styles and associated impacts on behaviour, emotions, and relationships. Attachment theory supports clients in understanding how integral relationships from childhood affect the way in which we approach the world.

Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

CBT is a foundational approach to treatment. This approach can support clients with their irrational beliefs, automatic negative thoughts, cognitive distortions, and maladaptive patterns of behaviour.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

IFS facilitates exploring, identifying, and befriending the  different parts our personality. With the goal of developing the authentic self, parts work can support clients by offering a new perspective and method of understanding ourself.
