Our Name

Judy's takes its name after my grandmother.

Stepping into my grandmother's house, I am greeted with a long hug, feelings of warmth, and joy. It's an unconditional love and acceptance that warms my soul. There are always fuzzy blankets, slippers, and comfortable couches to lay on. The house smells of freshly baked pie and sounds of light chatter from family.

I hope to curate a sense of genuine care and warmth for my clients, just like my grandmother Judy gave me.

Meet The Founder

Samantha Gordon M.A., R.P.

Hello, and thank you for visiting Judy's. I am the founder and primary therapist at Judy's. I started Judy's because I wanted to provide accessible therapy to people, in-person and online.

Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a rape crisis counsellor and peer support counsellor. I am interested in feminist psychology and social advocacy. I enjoy sustainable tourism and have been lucky enough to learn from feminist-led anti-oppressive NGO's in India.

I am passionate and fascinated by the role of cultural identity, the intersectionality of privilege and oppression, and the unique ways our social location impact our worldview.
