Hello, and thank you for visiting Judy's. I am the founder and primary therapist at Judy's. Named after my grandmother, I started Judy's because I wanted to provide accessible therapy to people, in-person and online.
I have a bachelors degree in psychology from the the University of British Columbia and a masters of arts in counselling psychology from Yorkville University. I am in the process of becoming a certified EMDR therapist through The EMDR Institute.
Before working as a therapist, I worked as a rape crisis counsellor and peer support counsellor. I have a background in feminist psychology and spent time learning from small feminist-led anti-oppressive NGO's in India. I am passionate and fascinated by the role of cultural identity, the intersectionality of privilege and oppression, and the unique ways our social location impact our worldview.
